Would like to become an autonomous foundation, built for poverty alleviation by creating opportunities for underprivileged community specifically inclusive young women and children to ensure their sustainable livelihood through an enabling environment approach. It will work on development of strong self-reliant women and children with focus on Economic empowerment and employability support
Mission
Response to socio-economic problems of vulnerable women and young children within the communities ,families ,promote women and child wellbeing and protection through holistic approach Nutrition, health, family education, economic empowerment, sponsorship, Environment and reinforcing community-based responses
Vision
The KASSO Foundation Envisions seeing safely and healthy women and children within their families and hope for the bright future with life, economically self-reliant, peacefully protected and dignified.
Objectives
- Providing inclusive quality, standardized and sustainable information and opportunities to women children, young people and families.
- Strengthening Integrated youth and women empowerment programmes through formal Trainings and workshops – Barista , food production , art support and placement .
- Sustaining the wellbeing of vulnerable women and young Children and especially widows, street vendors, orphans, street children , children born in family with conflicts and from teen mothers.
- Contribute to improving the livelihoods of young people and women through the development of economic opportunities as well assisting them to participate on environmental protection and Promotion
- Promoting responsive caregiving and provide opportunities for early learning interventions
- Strengthening formal services and support system of street children particularly ones based in the community or in primary health care through Raising awareness in the community
ultimate Goal
KASSO Foundation’ s Goal is to impact the well-being of women and children emotionally, socially, economically and healthy situation within their families, communities and advance their participation in the Socio-economic transformational development of Rwanda in peacefully and sustainable way.
Expected Results
- Improved skills of small-scale businesses operated by women and youth, in targeted agricultural value chains
- Reduced barriers faced by entrepreneurs, especially women and youth, and small-scale businesses;
- Increased community awareness and family support to address the issue of early marriage and promote economic opportunities to underprivileged community specifically young women and street children.
